ESSAY COMPETITION

The Tamilnadu Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust (TNPSWT), Chennai is conducting an Essay Competition for Final year B. Pharm students (Academic Year 2011 - 2012) for various colleges in Tamilnadu and Puducherry on the above mentioned topic. The essay will be evaluated by an independent body (Whose decision will be final) and the selected candidates would be suitably rewarded.
FIRST PRIZE – Rs. 10,000/-
SECOND PRIZE – Rs. 5,000/-
CONSOLATION PRIZE – Rs. 3,000/-
Guidelines for the Essay Competition:

  • Not more than 1000 words (Not exceeding 3 pages) and a maximum of 30 lines per page.
  • Only in A4 size paper
  • Should be only in English
  • Font style should be Times New Roman, Font Size - 12 and Line spacing – 1.5
  • Should be in Microsoft Word 2007.
  • Verbatim of the internet sources or from the journals on this subject may not be repeated. Only original work will be appreciated.

    We request you to kindly display our circular on your college notice board. The interested students may be asked to download the forms from our website (www.pictrust.com). The selected essays will be published in our quarterly Newsletter – "Pharma Web"

    The essays along with the completed application forms (enclosed herewith),duly certified by the Head of the Institution, should reach the Hon. Gen. Secretary, Tamilnadu Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust only as hard copy by Courier before 8th November 2011. Application received after this will not be considered.

    To avoid rejection, please do not mention your name or name of the institution anywhere in the essay other than the application form. Photo copies of the application form shall be taken.
